Yeah and I'm getting bored of it now. Most of his features are high voice like the Sour Soul verse and the Pinata verse.
It's been a long time since the Hybrid and Danny has proven his diversity on the albums you named. The high voice has just worn out on me now.
I yearn for his low voice which I haven't heard for ages but the high voice is just him and I get that so it doesn't really matter.
I don't mind this track either way. Fair enough, I agree for the most part, I really hope he gives us so more middle ground stuff in the future.
Like his voice on Pac Blood. The new track actually pitch-alters his voice which I've never heard before, I think it's made it especially high.
Yes mate but he is saying he is tired of the high pitched voice, it's okay for him to say that. I'm just thirsty for new Danny.
I'm right there with ya. Seems like anything we've heard from him since Old has been with the high voice. Didn't like it all that much at first, but a couple of listens kind of helps bring out the plink-plonky Clams beat.
I feel every new Clams Casino beat is get more avant-garde than the last. He's getting into some made Oneohtrix Point Never territory here.
Not a bad thing at all. But I think the cloud rap beats of old are going to be a thing of the past for Clams. On a related note..
Not feeling this at all. I was expecting Clams Casino's more lush and dreamlike beats, this beat isn't necessarily what I was hoping for from a collab.
I don't not like this song, but I'm not fond of it either. One of those just awesome cases of people who together would make good music, making music that shouldn't work, but it does so well.
I find the weird transitions in the first half really interesting. For a couple bars they sound like Danny is way off beat, but then he just keeps going and it lines up again.
Overall the beat is pretty dope. Glad to hear Clams going weird. Not really feeling the mix, though. The kick could slap more, and the way Danny sits on top of the beat there isn't much room for anything else.
Also I'm missing like a fat sub bass on a couple of accents, maybe two, three notes per bar. Damn suprised at the people who aren't feeling it this shit is that new danny brown I've been needing.
Honestly not feeling this at all. I don't get that. They're not even that off time. I've heard instrumentals with way more swing that still sounded good.
His voice is outlandish as fuck in the 2nd part, thats kinda dope. The whole thing isn't groundbreaking, but it's not bad either. What's with the sample near the end saying "Who do you think you are, Big Sean?
The beat is a little difficult to get into at first, but I'm on my third listen now and it's finally settling in. The chorus is catchy now.
This is really good Danny sounds more characteristic than before its really different and I loved it. Not bad, nothing special but still it's Clams and Danny, that combo could never be bad, but this just got me wondering if other Adult Swim associates like Flying Lotus and RTJ will drop something.
Clams has seriously changed his sound. I like it, but its definitely different. I bet that's why Rocky didn't put him on the album.
Clammy's new beats are so minimalistic, and someone like Danny or Vince have no trouble taking over something like this, but Rocky rides his beats rather than dominates them.
They also have a new lean track. I just kept trying to nod my head in anticipation but the snare never came.. Had me feeling some type of way.
I am vibing to its experimentation but it wasn't melodic enough and I thought the percussion was poor and not nearly engaging not that it wasn't loud enough but there was no bounce or feel, or just not enough.
Danny's flow also didn't fit it too well and I thought the hook wasn't strong. This would be a b-side to a XXX type release. Holy shit this song is incredible.

Music is so fucking good. There was also the Toonami mixtape where they had a bunch of show characters as mixtape DJs.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Good to get some new danny. I really liked this. I definitely feel a FlyLo vibe to this.
I liked clams for his asap sound. God, I missed Danny. I agree though it's great. I don't really ever see myself wanting to do that but I suppose I understand it.
Honestly I was just bored and had nothing better to do. Hope danny comes through with a project this year. OLD was half and half too.
